Implementation Project Manager & Interim Service Evolution Manager
Dan joined UW-Shared Services as the Implementation Project Manager in March, 2019, transitioning from his previous role with the Project Management Office at the UW Service Center. There, he led projects focused on regulatory compliance, process standardization and efficiency, and security.
As Implementation Project Manager, Dan supports UW-Shared Services through the development and implementation of the Service Development Lifecycle by providing ongoing leadership support and through process and organizational structure development. As Interim Service Evolution Manager, Dan will have responsibility for the Project Management Office as well as the additional focus areas of instructional design and development, continuous process improvement and deployment readiness and logistics.
Dan has worked in several industries – healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance and higher education – and in many roles, including Project Manager, Enterprise Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, Portfolio Manager and Implementation Project Manager. This experience allows him to bring a wide variety of tools, concepts, processes and methodologies to apply to ongoing work.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stevens Point and a Master Certificate in Project Management from the UW-Madison School of Business.
